" Grey Wolf "
When Grey Wolf first began coming to me as a Totem and Guide,Grandfather came in Dream time and posed a question…” Can you consider the path of Grey Wolf ? What wisdom does Grey Wolf hold within his knowing eyes? Does his story align itself with our peoples journey? What of his mission? Do you think Grey Wolf dreams or has visions? Do you say ,perhaps,if only Grey Wolf could speak? I say,”Grey wolf speaks in many ways…his presence, his natural habits, his eyes, the way he moves, how he lives…his silent presence reveals his great knowledge, and profound wisdom. He is our brother, and a part of our mission.
“ the great one has made it so . Give much thought to your brother, Grey Wolf; and, when it’s time, ask him to take you with him, when he knows you are able to make the journey. Already you see Grey wolf Close by. What do you see at this moment?”
I see Grey wolf walking noiselessly at the edge of the woods ,where there is brush and slender trees enough to conceal his presence. Grey Wolf walks slowly, his ears pointed toward the area ahead. His slender , agile (and powerful) frame is almost ghost like, so well he blends with his surroundings. He walks with sure steps, keenly aware of everything near and far. Occasionally he stops and sniffs the air; and listens. He turns to face me. His eyes reflect the Moons light with bits of red sparks. He sits now…there among two Birch trees.
I feel a connection with this beautiful animal. His gaze , like his whole demeanor, is comforting, reassuring. He does not seem uncomfortable with my presence. We simply share each others presence in silence. He stands, and lowers his head briefly, turns and enters the woods.
Grandfather nods his head, and whispers, “ Grey wolf will return soon, to take you with him,for awhile . Know that as you walk with him, he will protect and nourish you. You will observe first hand the greater meaning of “mother”,because Grey Wolf and his kind are excellent examples of ,”parents”. Grey wolf is sacred gift to those who would be willing to receive. I will return soon… DancingFire.

The Wild Blueberry...Maine's Native Berry
The Wild Blueberry...Maine's Native Berry
Wild blueberries were first appreciated by the Native Americans, who would dry them for much needed nutrition in the long, hard winter months. They were also used to heal various maladies such as morning sickness, headaches and coughs. The first time these precious little berries were commercially harvested was during the Civil War, when they were canned and sent to Union soldiers.
bushels of Maine blueberries, Maine Blueberrie Farms, Blueberry Recipes Since then, wild blueberries have consistently grown in popularity, in large part due to their incredible nutritional value, their impressively high levels of antioxidants, and their ability to help in the prevention of cancer. Maine produces over 90 percent of the wild blueberry crops harvested each year in the United States. This adds up to approximately 30 million pounds of blueberries a year!
Wild blueberries are smaller than their cultivated counterparts, and have a more intense, tangy-sweet flavor. The wild crops have the advantage of a broad range of variations which provide their distinctive flavor. Wild blueberries are often referred to as lowbush blueberries, while the cultivated berries are referred to as highbush blueberries. Cultivated blueberries are mostly hybrids, thus allowing more successful growth in other parts of both the United States and the rest of the world.
Maine blueberries Wild blueberries are not planted, but tended to, and encouraged to grow in a healthy and supportable way. The glacial fields and barrens of Maine provide an ideal combination of soil and climate which enables these vitamin-packed berries to flourish for thousands of years. Wild blueberry crops are maintained by farmers who own the land they grow on, and many farmers have been doing so for generations.
The wild blueberry bush has a 2 year cycle, which means that every other year a blueberry bush will produce berries. During the year that no berries are produced, the farmers try to help the vegetative growth to increase. This helps the general health of the blueberry bush as a whole plant. During a blueberry-producing year, the plant is prepared for an August harvest, when the blueberries will be ready for picking.
When August comes and it's time to harvest the wild blueberries, a special kind of rake is used. It was created by a Mainer from the Downeast area by the name of Abijah Tabbutt over 100 years ago. Since then this special rake has undergone some minor variations. This rake is closed-tined and still in prevalent use today. In fact, some wild blueberry-picking farms provide them to visitors.
Maine's 60,000 acres of wild blueberries grow naturally in fields and barrens that stretch from Downeast to the state's southwest corner. Adapted to Maine's naturally acid, low fertility soils and challenging winters, wild blueberries are a low input crop requiring minimal management. The berries are grown on a two-year cycle — each year, half of a grower's land is managed to encourage vegetative growth and the other half is prepared for a wild blueberry harvest in August. After the harvest the plants are pruned to the ground by mowing or burning.
Wild blueberries hold a special place in Maine's agricultural history — one that goes back centuries to Maine's Native Americans. Native Americans were the first to use the tiny blue berries, both fresh and dried, for their flavor, their nutrition and their healing qualities and it was not until the 1840's that wild blueberries were first harvested commercially. As a symbol of Maine's agricultural heritage — a heritage that respects and values the environment — growers consider the future well-being of the land in their management practices, allowing neighbors and visitors to continue to enjoy some of Maine's most scenic vistas and precious wildlife habitats.
Integrated Crop Management
Because wild blueberries are indigenous to Maine, they are naturally resistant to many native pests. Still, there are times when environmental stressors such as disease, drought, insect pest damage and winter injury can ruin much of the fruit and it is a grower's challenge to minimize such crop damage. Here is a recipe I like alot:
Apple Blueberry cake
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
1 cup oil
4 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
2-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup blueberries
4 large apples -- pared, peeled, and sliced
Cinnamon/sugar
Place all ingredients except cinnamon/sugar and fruit in large bowl and beat until smooth. Pour 1/3 of batter in ungreased tube pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar and spread 1/3 of the apples and 1/2 cup blueberries over batter. Repeat 2 more times, but do not put blueberries on top layer (they will burn).
Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 1-1/2 hours or until done. Remove from pan and let cool well before slicing.
Variations: Substitute raspberries for blueberries. Eliminate blueberries.

"Mother Earth"
The path is quiet . Nothing stirs . As I move along , my mind wanders. Where ? I'm not sure. Images so fleeting, flash before me, and are gone . I begin to sing . The words , I do not understand, but my spirit feels their power .The sense of soul shattering urgency, as if i cannot sing fast enough .The tears come .Tears of incredible joy , and grieving .Joy for who , and why we are .Grieving for the countless ways in which ," MOTHER EARTH "struggles, and agonizes because of deep, bleeding wounds the world blindly inflicts upon her .
The words are ended , But the brokenness, the horrible wounds fill my mind .I can walk no further .I go to my knees .The tears do not stop .After a long while ,I realize that I fell asleep . Her voice awakened me , and I try to stand .She comes to me and takes my hand .She speaks , "What seems lost , is not ! We will restore and replenish her .Once again ,she will rejoice in her glistening, pure waters; in her pure air , in her pristine forests, and her beautiful meadows .She will rejoice to watch each one of her countless children enjoy fruits of the land , and the seas.
Already the process of her purification has begun .It will be very , very difficult, yet, she will rise again, whole and complete ; and we will celebrate her new birth together .Look beyond the present agony, and behold her as she will be ,,,bright ,shining, alive and filled with inexpressible joy . Focus on her " becoming ", and not on her " Going".
She places her hands on my shoulders. She focuses her eyes on mine .She begins to chant .The ground beneath my feet seems to move . The chanting fades , and the distant drums begins . I try to speak .She smiles knowingly, and whispers , " We will meet very soon, Little Sister." Listen to the song and sleep peacefully .
I find myself standing at the clearing. You walk toward me . raven appears and comes to rest on your shoulder .I reach for your hand . You say , ' Come , it's time to go home ." As your hand touches mine , she begins singing. from somewhere she sings that same haunting song . I look at you and ask if you hear the song , then I realize you are the one singing . I close my eyes . Again , the Earth beneath me moves. I reach again for your hand .
But , I'm alone...drifting with the moving earth ..drifting into a quiet place...Dancingfire

"Great Grandmother"
>There is another kind of quiet that touches my thoughts...so different , so compelling. I'm walking the woodland path. Tonight it is so different. The Moon rides high above . There's a warmth, a softness >Ahead of me , she stands waiting .Her face, bathed in moonlight, is radiant with a smile . Her extended hand waits to claim my own . " Come ", She whispers, as we head upwards along the familiar path . No word is spoken . She begins to sing ...her voice so soothing , seems to expand and embrace me , the woodland , and the Moon . Her words though unknown to me seem to penetrate and quicken every fibre of my being , and form flashes of images before my eyes .She sings of long ago, and an infant in her arms ...A girl . I look into the eyes of the infant and i see a lone campfire. I see a solitary person dancing to the beat of unseen drums . It's the infant, now a young woman . In her hand she holds what appears to be some kind of Dust which she tosses into the fire. The flames leap upward in an explosion of many colors . Now, The young woman's dancing slows, and she is older . She seems to sway as the Drumbeat slows . She stops and turns her gaze ..Toward me . Our eyes meet...The old one takes my hand and whispers ," The Drums Are Your Mother ". The fires are your Father. The two .. Are one . You are both .The sister that walks with you understands ..She is mine ..Of my flesh and Bone ..Much more than my blood courses through her . With-in her she bears the Sacred Light of the Ancient Ones . >The vision fades. I am standing alone on the path. The first light of dawn appears . The tears move freely down my face .

Letters,"From A Dying Friend" 4
Random-ness
1. She sang with her very soul, the young woman on the radio last night; declaring that her hearts love will live on forever.
2. Oh Lord, this is one awesome"Mountain" before me, and it does scare me ...Big Time! Every step is uncertain. Every breath is the same. At times, I feel as though I'm reflected(as it were) onto a myriad of misty veils-watching as these veils move and change position. All of which is beyond my control. Which one of me is real?
It's the music that holds me together. The music of my sister is the strongest by far. The vibration is deep and far-reaching. It is a path finder that keeps me from being lost...lost in the maize of varied levels of pain and frustration.
To enter her presence is to feel that music surge through me, put me back together, hold me no less. To hear her voice on the phone does the same, though to a lesser degree.
So, it is she who forces me to keep moving forward. It is her strength that insist I fight to keep climbing-even when I am just too exhausted to do so .
What do I hold with in my soul for my sister? Only soul can relate the true significance of my love and profound esteem. Only her soul knows what I cannot verbalize on human terms, because our connection is beyond what is deemed as human.Like the galaxies yet unknown to us, so is that which binds she and me together. It has been so for countless ages. It will remain thus.
Amen...Jean

Just ate a bowl of oatmeal and some toast so I could take,"The Pill."
Tried to sleep, but right side in back area just wont quit.
Went outside awhile ago with Nicki. the half-moon is so breath taking tonight. I thought,"not to be here on this earth to see the moon and stars, or feel the sun high above; not to have more time with you ??? No! Absolutely Not !!! Not for many years yet.
I'm not ready to trade this earth view for that on the other side. I want to walk with you through the seasons here! I want to be here, until Nicki and Mr M must leave us behind.
I talked to God earlier, expressing these some sentiments- in a "please God," fashion.
I love you so much more than I can ever tell you ...Jean

I have just received the Good Life award from Akasa Wolfsong and I have been asked to answer the following ten questions. Of course I accept the award humbly. So here are my answers.
1. Who is your favorite poet?
My favorite poet is Rita Joe,she lived and wrote and operated her craft shop on the Eskasoni reserve in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She is the author of four books of poetry, an autobiography and an important anthology of Mi'kmaw writing. Rita Joes most recent poetry and her rare, long-out-of-print first book called Poems of Rita Joe, offer evidence of her continuing journey to understand and to share the unique combination of native spirituality and Christianity that was Rita Joes daily life. Through her eyes, and in her days, the horrors and joy of human life are remembered, lived out and shared. She was a survivor of her own gentle war, a reporter from the front lines. On March 20, 2007, the Great Spirit welcomed a wonderful person home to the Land of Souls. Her poems are small, tough monuments, left in our care.
Poems
Our home is this country
Across the windswept hills
With snow on fields.
The cold air.
I like to think of our native life,
Curious, free;
And look at the stars
Sending icy messages.
My eyes see the cold face of the moon
Cast his net over the bay.
It seems
We are like the moon --
Born,
Grow slowly,
Then fade away, to reappear again
In a never-ending cycle.
Our lives go on
Until we are old and wise.
Then end.
We are no more,
Except we leave
A heritage that never dies.
2. What has been your most
embarrassing moment?
This is tough to share but in hopes you will have a good laugh today I will divulge it .When I was young and went to get birth control for the first time,I was asked by the Doc what kind of birth control I was interested in . Instead of saying,"oral." I said,"I want to take verbal medication!) Bless her heart, she remained very composed and as a slight grin crossed her lips she said no problem ,I can help you with that.I realised my error the minute I said it but was to embarrassed to say more.
3. What is the one thing your
Grandmother/'s impressed upon
you that you really took to heart
and still live by to this day?
That is an easy answer and a short one as well. Accept, care for and love all living things.
4. Helium Balloon Ride, Ocean
Parasailing, Deep Sea Fishing or
Experiencing the Wilds of Africa -
which one would you choose to
show your adventurous side and
why?
I would take the balloon ride without a doubt. I have done much flying in small planes in past years here in the state of Maine and always loved the feeling of being high above the earth. It was always a very spiritual experience for me . I think the only thing better would be to be aloft in something that has very little sound.
5. If you could choose a charity
to give to what would it be?
Well now,I do give to a few charities anyway...M.A.D.D,children' s hospital, and my local animal shelter.
6. If you could choose a living
person of today to spend the
whole day with who would it be
and why?
That would be Miss Akasa Wolfsong,my earth angel,my sister of long ago.So that I could give her a big warm hug.
7. What is your favorite meal?
Lobster, hands down.I live in Maine and was brought up on the Maine Coast;so,yes,Maine Lobster.
8. What is your favorite holiday
of the year?
Happy Holidays! I don't really have a favorite. If people are happy then I am happy.
9. Tell one thing about yourself
that others do not know.
I was shocked almost to death in the bathtub when I was 10 and had a near death experience.
10. What did you want to be
when you were growing up?
I wanted to be a Doctor or a lawyer. I am interested in both.Due to my journey in life as I was coming up;that never came to be a reality.
My recipients to receive The Good
Life Award Are...
Gee I only know one person here and that is Akasa Wolfsong.
Here are my ten questions...
1. If you were cooking a very special meal for someone, what would you cook?
2. What is the craziest thing you ever did?
3. While out in nature, what is the most awesome and compelling thing you have ever witnessed?
4. What person, place or thing makes you feel most alive and uplifted?
5. What are your hopes for the future of our planet and our people?
6. If you went out for the evening and could do anything, what would it be?
7. If you were to volunteer your services what would you do ?
8. If you could see anyone in concert who would you see.
9.Do you collect anything,if so ,what?
10.If there was just one thing you wanted others to know about you what would it be?

Letters,"From a Dying Friend 2"
July 18,04
Dear Brenda,
Your words of this afternoon are awesome. God must really think I'm special,to have brought us together(yet,) again.
My heart is overflowing. My soul trembles each time your words come to mind. how,or what way,I deserve such a love escapes me; but, know that I hold that love where it is safe and present every moment of every day.
I have every good reason to fight "the fight", and I surely will.
How it is that we are so finely tuned to each other, so connected, is no less awesome. I have never before experienced the likes of it. I remember during the 1st several months how cautious, questioning myself, and uncertain; because, it was so quick,so deep, so powerful. I was so afraid of being misunderstood; and, struggled to be as reticent as I could. As time passed, and we shared the new levels (for me, at least,) I became more at peace and secure in this wondrous event.
You are the most precious one in my life; and so, will you remain.
I wish I could paint on canvas, the woman I saw replace your human form that day at the cemetery. There was such power and elegance, such an inexpressible aura of love and carng about you . I know I could never do justice to her/you, even if I were an accomplished artist. Oh,but my soul went to her/you instantly. Amazing! "Amazing cannot do justice either.
We will "walk the walk" together; and, we WILL win together! We will celebrate together, beloved sister.
I love you forever, and always, Jean

" Letters from ,"A Dying Friend."
July 14,04
Dear Brenda,
I need to write, to try and relate what (or where,) I'm at tonight.
There is no way I could have gotten myself to Winterport on my own this afternoon. It was your presence that enabled me to go, and to hear the "Worrisome" news.
I'm at a loss for words when it comes to telling you the true depth of my love for you. May your spirit know; and, tell you , what I cannot.
We must focus on the positive of this situation. We must believe that this particular "cup" is half full, not half empty.
To have my family within reach is the greatest blessing I could hope for; and, you know who is my family.
We will take this one step at a time, without speculation or cumbersome fear that serves no purpose.
If you see me feeling sorry for myself, stop me however you can. Please!
It's so easy to do;(at least) for me.It's merely another negative, useless exercise.
Together, we will overcome this speed-bump. Right? Right!!!
I love you. I thank God that you are here with me. We'll "hang Tough" as they say.
Your sister,
Jean
Dream Of The New Earth
It is the voice of the Ancients whispering a call to the many that reaches me at this hour .The drums sound clear, and emphatic. The path is before me. It is a wide path, and well illuminated. far ahead,I can see many circles of fires, and countless torch bearers stand at the perimeter of this massive area.
Elders of many nations are gathered. The chanting voices work in wondrous harmony...Pleading the cause of life and love , and Peace.
Also in attendance are representatives of the animal kingdom; of air, land, and sea. here, so it seems, the earth itself is present .The chanting decreases in volume. A single voice begins to sing . her voice is full of passion as she delivers her message ...A message of perception seen by all who are present. The drums speak softly to enhance and clarify that message. dancers also portray the scenes of which she sings .
The first scene is Mother Earth when she was pure and abundant in wealth of all life...Her waters clear, her air fresh and clean, her land fertile- an earth so pristine , so virginal.
The singers voice begins to present the subtle and desastrous changes. dark clouds gather to shut out the life giving sun. The first peoples to reside here come forth now to validate the great days of serenity and life-sustaining harmony shared by all species and all elements of their Mother Earth. One sees clearly their joy; then, their grief, as the signs of hatred, jealousy, and greed begin to gather.
The drums alter their beat . The singer trembles in voice, and in form, as the storm breaks overhead. the sounds of screaming winds, soul-shaking thunder, and blinding lightening comes from all directions .
Suddenly, there is total darkness. Soundless, seemingly endless darkness. No drums, no singer, no torches, no circles of fire, no presence of any kind. The silence is loud and excruciating.
Out of the depths and breath of this nothingness, comes a trembling, a soft, gentle trembling. A barely perceptible hum can be felt first , then heard.
Before us a single campfire appears. A young woman, ( seated close to the fire ), holds an infant in her arms. Close beside her sits a child of three years. These three are content and happy. Soon several other young mothers appear with their babies. These too, are at peace and happy. They talk softly, and share a bountiful meal.
Towards sunset, the men come from field, and forest, and the great waters- bringing provisions for all. The evening meal is ready, and shared by all. The children run and play. Their laughter appreciated by their parents.
The singers voice stops. The drums merely whisper as the Ancients speak, With one voice they say," The new campfire is the continence of the eternal light of Great Spirit. The infant in it's mothers arms is symbol of life which remains complete and eternal. The absence of Elders at this new campfire tells us that this new generation lives free of earthly degeneration.
" They represent the new Earth- Now cleansed, healed, and again fertile and pristene. She, Mother earth,Is still recognized and honored as their Mother, who loves and cares for her children.
"Gone are the drums of war, of violence, Of hatred and greed. No more will Mother Earth feel the life-blood of her children spilled out, to sear her very soul. Gone are the causes of grieving.
" This is what shall be. this is the new life, the new world that will emerge immediately after the last terrible voice of hatred, and destruction is silenced forever.
Again , the drums begin. the singer begins to chant. All present chant with her.the torch-bearers form a lighted way for the many tribes to walk. Slowly, the many circles of fire dim, then are gone .
Veils of mist gather as the chanting voices, and the drums, fade in silence.

"Infinite Life Fire"
How awesome it is to observe the multi-layers of time ,pass in review; to see the endless forms of living things evolve , expand, and re-create themselves ever new ,ever different - yet the same .Example : The human embryo , so minute, evolves to infancy, to toddler , to child , to teenager , to young/ middle aged adult, and to the aged state . Each decade of its life is like the beads of a prayer band...each bead reflects a story of experience, unique and never quite the same from one Decade to another.
The joy and sorrows , the inner death and resurrection, the tears of laughter, the smiles of happiness, the furrowed lines of confusion and / or fear , represent a finite journey destined to Infinite purpose - a purpose that continues to unfold, and expand itself , until ultimate perfection is achieved .
One Day , like the Butterfly emerging from it's cocoon, so that finite embryo shall emerge from this state of illusion , and feel the great glory of itself in the perfect light of reality. It will rise on it's wings of glory and ride the endless light waves , until it achieves it's awesome destination , which is to join the countless numbers of it's species in the formation of a most exquisite tree - a symbol of eternal life .
I see the tree...alive with colors too numerous to define, yet so wondrous to see. From somewhere, a voice speaks, "Embrace the tree. Feel its fragile beauty. Hear its delicate heartbeat. Listen to its song .It sings your life back to you. It is expression of who you are, have always been, and ever shall be - essence of the Infinite Life- Fire
“Look closely, very closely, to the composition of the Butterfly. Note that each layer of it's wings reflects it's previous existence; while it's body represents the infinite Life-Fire that weaves the fabric of it's wings, and makes eternal the vision of beauty and color and motion, and purpose , of it's existence .
“It is illusion to think that a butterfly lives but a day’s length. It moves, in reality, to to other dimensions of existence; and, if it chooses to do so, may reappear. Whenever you see a Butterfly - know that it comes with a gift for your eyes only....a fleeting reminder of, whom you are, and why; and that you will, indeed, pass this way again, until your earthly mission is completed.
Remember always, that the Designer, the sustainer for the Butterfly is Love -The Infinite Life –Fire…Dancingfire

Back at the path
Grandfather looks heavenward tonight . Seems i must be on my way. The light of the moon makes the path clear . The quiet is so wonderful . Stars , to numerous to count dance among the branches of the trees . Grand Father motions that we are to take a path not likely seen in passing . The greyWolf walks between us. This path is very old. Tall grass obscures much of the way , but we pass without difficulty . We seem to be descending gradually. The GreyWolf now moves ahead of us , and dissapears from sight .
We reach a small clearing . Grandfather turns to me, and claps his hands three times. the drums begin. GrandFather places a small pouch in my hand . he speaks softly , " when you approach the fire scatter the dust from the pouch onto the flames . Inhale the smoke only once ."
" I did not notice any fire , grandfather " ,I tell him . My words fade , as he also fades from my view .From somewhere, he answers , " Turn around ". I turn and see a campfire ahead . I approach the fire , and scatter the dust upon the flames .
Suddenly ,the flames burst into bright reds , blues , greens , and yellow . Smoke rises from the fire . I move close and take a deep breath . My body feels so heavy . My mind is going to sleep . I struggle to stay awake , but sleep comes rapidly .I watch in awe as i separate from my sleeping body ; then , I'm moving very fast through many layers , until i find myself standing on the beach .
It is deep night . I hear the waves against the rocks , feel the water against my ankles .Looking out across the rolling sea , there appears four people moving swiftly toward the beach .They come directly to me . " I know you ", I whisper to the woman . " yes , you know me , DancingFire ". ' You're wearing the clothes of my people , " I say in wondrous awe .
" As do you , Little Sister . look , and you will see ", she answers . I look , and i am wearing a cream - colored dress with beads of burgandy , red , deep green , and bright blue. My hair is long , and braided. In my hair are two slender white feathers . Small , short feathers of Eagle .
She tells me , " Lift your arm out from your body . Hold firm and steady . " I do so ; and as i do , i hear eagles voice as he approaches, and lands upon my outstretched arm . He turns and looks at me . From afar , she whispers , " Go with Eagle." I'm being lifted skyward . Higher and Higher we move , leaving the night , the sea , and the four people behind . We ride the air currents effortlessly. I watch the sun just now touching the earth with first light .
Eagle descends slowly toward the trees . I feel the strength of his mighty wings , and hear his heartbeat . He lands on the beach , and with his glorious cry , bids me farewell . I watch him ascend until no longer in sight .
GrandFather approaches me , and we turn away from the ocean . Dawn touches the frosty air with soft pinks . Wordlessly, we enter the path leading home .At the bend, the greywolf meets us , and we walk in silience . The drums again sound...soft , ever so softly . Grandfather leaves us as we reach the clearing .
" Thank You , GrandFather ," I whisper . Looking at the GreyWolf , I say , " Thank You , My good loyal friend ". He stops , turns , and dissapears into the trees . I watch him go , and notice that once he enters the woods , he turns to look at me .....

"Raven and The Ring"
Raven watches nearby.. Waiting for the beloved one to see the vision spiraling ever- closer, matched only by the eternal Pulse that bridges finite with infinite.
New worlds, new realities rising, resonate with the unseen hands beating.. Unseen drums. From before all this , she appears, robed in ancestral garb... signature of her rightful heritage . The fires encircle the six white stones surrounding the beloved Flame -Bearer. Raven rests comfortably on her right shoulder.
Raven stands , spreads his wings as if to take flight, but remains in place . The Beloveds eyes flame brightly, with blue fire . She extends her palm. I see the multi - gem ring spinning slowly. She whispers, " Behold two new stones...One of silver , the other of gold.
Smiling at me ,she presses the ring against my forehead , saying , "Soon you shall see a wondrous thing. Your entire being shall celebrate the gift of her, who walks closer to you than you can know . I am the fire standing between the two of you .Give thanks to the Ancients, Who in their great wisdom, chose Raven to attend you ( both ), as yet ,ever-more wondrous paths await you ." Let the new dance begin !"
The distant drums become louder, more intense. raven spreads his blue-black wings, lifts away from her shoulder. He calls to her as he ascends, and is gone from sight . She nods her head , and is gone ...Slowly ,the drums soften and begin to fade . In the darkness, she whispers,"Rest easy little Sister. Enjoy the assigned path~~
Here with-in The Divine Heart, The Universal power and glory are brought to you - flowing freely in you, around you, through you with healing, nurturing, renewing love. All that IS unfolds, gathers, disperses, and expands endlessly in you , through you and for you . Massive as the very consciousness of our loving Creator. Gentle as a mere candle's flame ...reflection of Sacred Power in this subdued light of Spirit.
Here, where the tides of infinity wash over you with immeasurable grace and joy. Where you are wholly alive and totally free to run the shoreline, dance with the Ancients, and embrace the Unconditional One, Who first embraced you for always.
Here, Where Dreamtime is your tent, (as it is, my cave,) may you know the Life-Force in its fullest glory, and reality. Here, where you are the Beloved, now woven into The Beloved.
In the Scripture, It says we must die unto ourselves, until we no longer live but Christ/Great Spirit lives in us. Ah... The ultimate, “give-away.” Which means, if I understand correctly, we live in the earthly plane, yet it is Christ/Great Spirit who is the action thru us, once we, (the higher self) resides beyond the earthly plane. So, our inaction becomes Christ's/Great Spirits action, thru us. We step out, and he steps in .We focus on the beautiful vision, and it is Christ/Great Spirit whose Light is reflected thru our eyes. If we truly, " see', then we are blind to the earth plane, which allows others to see Christ/Great Spirit in us?

Tracings of Infinity
New tracings of Infinity come unannounced, so clear-to bend the mind, to refashion it, and bless it anew. The eyes close, while the other awakens to take me where I must be for a little while.
Other worlds draw near, and then are gone. Music flows in me, thru’ me, carrying me onward to my destination. A voice sings softly, so softly, drawing me within its vibration. It spirals, widening surrounding me with its incredible warmth and calm. Ah, I see…It’s a resting place, a womb-sacred, infinite, all embracing, all consuming. This Cenacle of my beginnings and endings is beyond the telling. I see my beginnings and endings merging blending together, their ebb and flow are lights of the rainbow-dancing, mingling, rising-sometimes softly, sometimes intensely; yet, the pulse is constant.
A hand takes mine and brings me forth, from the cenacle. It points ahead of me. The voice whispers,” Listen.” I see two people looking toward me. Their eyes are portals thru’ which they insist I pass. As I move closer, the two are gone, and I stand beyond the portals. A new voice says,” Look downward.”
I look downward. I see mountains rising, ocean water carving their shores close to the edge of the land masses. I see countless stars spinning high above the misty veil that envelopes the Earth becoming.
Oh yes! I have stood thus before. The sound of thunder reverberates, answered by the piercing crack of lightening. The spinning orb of Earth slows, assuming its designated path. Above, sister sun appears. Below, the brother Moon waits.
The voice speaks,” Even greater wonders than this you will see. There is no end to the,”seeing”, if you so desire.
The sound of rushing waters brings me to a lonely beach. The last rays of sunlight fade quickly; followed by a rising Moon. The gentle press of wave around my ankles guides my steps along the sands. Some distance away, she waits. As I approach her, she smiles, and whispers,” Is it not glorious to stand before time and witness the beginning? Home? We have things to do this night.
“Where are we going? What is it we must do?” I ask. She offers a hint of laughter as she answers,” Come, you’ll see, little sister.”
Again, the spiraling begins. I feel myself returning. Slowly, the portals close, but the music, and her soft laughter remain with me. Her presence is an Aura in her absence; and, yet they are one-in-the-same.
May the great light of the Trinity; fill you to overflowing with healing and quiet joy…Dancingfire

Flowing and ebbing. Three minute whirlwinds dance-one to our left, another to our right, and the third ahead of us.
So delicate, so fragile in their appearance only. In truth they are forms of our people-come to surround us with the medicine of this love and protection; and, their inexhaustible strength.
Each bears ever-changing flashes of lightening-quick colors-dancing, spinning; rising to separate descending to rejoin in countless array of fleeting forms; then, again to a single, living form.
Which truly reminds me of this time and space and life on Earth..Brothers and Sisters, all of us…In the same myriad of colors, and forms…And I love them all…
The drums continue their slow, steady beat-all is merged into a single step, a single breath, a single heartbeat. Growing deeper, widening outwards, reverberating back upon us, until all is all, is all, is ever all.
Much love, much thanks to Great Spirit for the gift of this moment…Dancingfire Brenda

Softly
Slowly, ever so softly, the music comes to wrap me with in its majesty, its profoundness…to shatter me in countless, glorious ways. The vibrations are many, and like ocean waves, no two are the same. There’s drama and playfulness, there’s great depths and lightness, there’s strength and wondrous gentleness.
There’s light blending with darkness. There’s rising and cascading, and incredible spiraling. There’s thunderous power tempered by the softest of sighs. I could continue this line of thought, but this is sufficient.
See…from the breath of Great Spirit, comes the living wind to stir the passive waters, and lift the arms of the pine, Oak Cedar and other trees, that they may dance and sway to the ebb and flow of the Earth-land, and waters alike.
The sweeping trains of night’s robes come to erase the last failing light of day; and, to bring the sweet rest, which only night can provide.
From the vast distance a whispering voice bids the weary one to close the eyes and go to the sacred place of Dreamtime.
Here, in Dreamtime, while the body is at rest, the spirit rises to dance and celebrate its true home. Here, soul stretches. It expands in numberless directions, to embrace (and, be embraced by,) its true essence- the very heart and soul of the universes, otherwise known as Great Spirit. (It’s the Father, Mother, Sister and Brother)
Here, where mystery is wisdom revealed, where love is life designed to live eternally, soul is both beloved and loved; equal in all things and all ways ;both served and servant; both life and death mingled; both seen and unseen; both here and there, and everywhere.
If soul (here) whispers an inaudible sigh, that sigh fills the furthermost of all Universes, to return as a kiss-a response from Great Spirit. So, too, a silent tear on the cheek finds it’s way to Great Spirit, and is returned in blessings too numerous to count.
Ah, precious soul, child of infinity, see how noble your stature, how mighty your presence; how profoundly deep you are intertwined with the mystery of your own existence.
Know beyond all doubt you are most highly favored, most beloved, of Great Spirit …Writing by Dancinfire

Native Indian Prayer
Oh, Great Spirit
Prayer composed by Chief Yellow Lark, a Blackfoot Indian--
Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds and whose breath gives
life to all the world, hear me. I come before you, one of your many children.
I am weak and small. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty and
make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset; my ears sharp so I may hear
your voice. Make me wise, so I may learn the things you have taught my people,
the lessons you have hidden under every rock and leaf. I seek strength, not to
be superior to my brothers, but to be able to fight my greatest enemy--myself.
Make me ever ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes, so
whenever life fades, like the fading sunset, my spirit will come to you
without shame.
Native American Prayer
Morning star wake us, filled with joy
To new days of growing to man from boy.
Sun, with your power, give us light
That we can tell wrong and do what's right.
South wind, we ask, in your gentle way
Blow us the willingness to obey.
North wind, we ask, live up to thy name,
Send us the strength to always be game.
East wind, we ask, with your breath so snappy,
Fill us with knowledge of how to be happy.
West wind, we ask, blow all that is fair
To us, that we may always be square.
Moon, that fills the night with red light,
guard us well while we sleep in the night.
Akela, please guide us in every way,
We'll follow your trail in work or play.
Simple Blessing
May you walk in Peace,
Live with Love,
work with Joy,
and May Your God go with you.

Grandfather Comes, …By Dancingfire
Grandfather looks far away… very much involved with whatever holds his attention. Ah, I understand….”Far Away,” is here-present, now! What is here is also there. One is part of the other. There is great peace and serenity in Grandfathers face.
Dreamtime is reality, held secure there; thus unaffected by illusion, which is the physical realm.
Words begin to rise, again, unspoken. I see a sunbathed meadow, filled with brightly colored wildflowers that dance with the soft breeze. Beyond, I see a river; and beyond the river, I see a giant waterfall. The cascading waters catch the rays of the sun. The misty plumes reveal / become forms that dance ghost-like. Here too, there is great peace and serenity. At the top of the waterfall eagle soars, dips, and circles no less peacefully. Eagle’s voice descends like a whisper, traveling far and wide.
I’m moving beyond the river, and as I do, I notice footprints along its banks. Of course, I am to follow the footprints. They are fresh and clear. As I move closer to the waterfall, I hear the drums, slow, rhythmic. The voice of the waterfall is deafening, yet the sound of the drums remains.
Standing here, at the edge of the massive; swirling waters, I feel a powerful wrenching within me. A sound like rushing wind comes quickly, and she appears. Black Panther…Her sleek form begins to change and standing before me is my female guide, Ancient beauty personified. Her eyes match the radiant smile she offers. She reaches to take my hand, and says quietly, “Come sister, we are to dance with those dancing amidst the cascading waters.” I now see the dancers. As we approach to join them, they move to encircle us. I see glorious images in the transparency of the dancers. I see layer upon layer of reality in which people celebrate the Divine Life in each other.
I see inexpressible love and joy, which is alive, palpable. I see people attending to those (here) who need help of one kind or another. Are we still dancing? I don’t know. It does not matter.
Suddenly, I hear a loud rumbling far away… My Guide speaks softly,” Be at peace, brief darkness approaches, but will quickly pass. You are here to witness (to refresh long ago memory) the unbroken connection between the seen and the unseen. You have served no less before, as you see these serving now.
This is not a time to fear or dread. It is a time to focus on the unseen, and the seen, to listen to the wind, and take what you carry with you to those who have no ears and no eyes and speak for those without a voice. Prepare my child and prepare those who need assistance. Many new doors will be opened to you. You cannot begin to grasp the depth and breathe of Creators love for you; it is far more than enormous.
My Guide is silent for a moment and then speaks again, softly in prayer as she holds my hand.”Oh Father /Creator bring her deeper within the light of your presence that she may rise and go forth as witness to the Divine Force, The Infinite Love, for which every soul longs and needs. Wrap her securely within the great dance and fill her with the music of the Spheres that bring balance and harmony to all living creatures; indeed, to all that lives and has being in you. Align her fragile pulse with the Infinite heartbeat.”Then she turns and looks deep into my eyes and says,”DancingFire, It is always the Creators desire that you walk strong in the strength of the light. Reach to those deepest places. Bring forth the greatest gift. Turn your gaze heavenward. Embrace the streaming light of Spirit. Inhale it. Claim it .Claim the gift giver; and, breathe forth the gift back to the heavens…realizing that as you offer this Gift, it moves outward to touch no less wherever the Giver guides it. We should discuss the Beloved Mother. I’ve heard her song. I’ve looked into her eyes long ago. I have seen here most recently smiling at me in your own eyes. I will come again, you will here me in the wind whispering your name.” As quick as my heart could beat one beat, she was gone, I turn just in time to see Panther disappear into a shadow, in her place is Grandfather with a peaceful smile and a look of knowing in his eyes. In silence he escorts me safely back…DancingFire
